Recruitment at Polarsteps
Our company is growing fast! We are looking for a world-class tech recruiter to help us hire awesome teammates to keep up with our growth. You’ll be our first permanent in-house recruiter. We have already implemented an ATS, set up some basic processes and hired a few people, but there's still so much to be done!
You will be in a standalone role but working closely with our founders and our People & Operations Manager. We are deeply aware that recruiting the best talent out there is key for our success, so you will get all the engagement and support you need from the team.

What you'll do
Design and run our recruiting process end-to-end across all roles;
Source incredible candidates from both the usual and unexpected places;
Partner closely with hiring managers and other members of our team to make every touchpoint with candidates exceptional (while using everyone's time wisely);
Strategize and automate! We want every hire to be better than the one before. Help us figure out how to ramp our pace of hiring while ensuring the best decision-making process and a world-class candidate experience'
Build a solid employer brand, particularly within the tech scene (including events).
Our ideal candidate
Has 4+ years experience in Tech Recruitment, but is also comfortable with recruiting non-technical hires;
Is truly an expert in their field, with an established network of tech talent, close contact with the Talent Acquisition community and excellent knowledge of the hiring market;
Needs little hand-holding but knows when to ask for help or guidance. Is entrepreneurial and hungry;
Is kind, warm, and thoughtful - as you'll represent the company to interact with thousands of candidates each year. Candidates who've worked with you have gone on to give positive feedback, even if they didn't get the job;
Has a proven track record of sourcing and reaching out to passive candidates on and beyond LinkedIn;
Has outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, is able to nurture relationships internally and externally, paying attention to detail at all stages of the interview process;
Has a deep understanding of the different roles within a product organization;
Is tech-savvy, keen to experiment and innovate;
Has rock-solid personal ethics.
